Interior Health (IH) is committed to providing engagement opportunities for patients, families, staff and the public on projects that impact personal health and the health of the community.
The first of these opportunities is the re-establishment of health services in Lytton. Our goal is to listen, learn and share -- whether people are engaging online or in person. We want you to have your say by contributing your feedback and ideas.
Our approach
IH works with people and organizations that have an interest in our health services. These interactions happen locally and provincially. IH follows the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) spectrum as a guide to support our engagement.
You can help guide decisions on health care services by taking part – through tools such as discussion forums, Q and As or polls.
Why we encourage public participation:
To increase public awareness and understanding of health services and how decisions are made
To create opportunities for our partners to contribute experience and expertise to improve services
To build and enhance relationships between IH and our partners
To use time effectively to move forward together
We recognize the value and need for continual connection and engagement with the many people who access services. It’s through these relationships that we learn, improve, cultivate support and ensure the future sustainability of our health system.
Bring your voice to the table and enrich the conversations on health service planning and delivery. Your input makes a difference as it helps us better understand your perspectives and experiences so that programs and services can be effective and coordinated.
You only have to register once to use this platform (with a user name and email). If you have any questions or concerns, contact EngageIH@interiorhealth.ca .
