Update on Road Closures around Dr. F.W. Green Memorial Home

As offsite work and construction activity continue with the Dr. F.W. Green Memorial Home redevelopment project, Interior Health is advising neighbours living around the construction zone about temporary road closures around the facility.

Offsite infrastructure work requires extending temporary road closures on 17 Ave. South and 3rd Street South to October 12, 2026.

Additionally, to accommodate crane operations and structural steel installations, a temporary lane closure will be in effect along portions of 18 Ave South between Sept. 8 and Dec. 15, 2026.

Residents and the public are asked to follow posted signage and directions from traffic control personnel during these times. We appreciate the understanding and patience of the neighbourhood while this important work is completed.
