Temporary changes to parking March 2 to April 21

The Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) MRI Suite Expansion project kicked off earlier this month, and the construction team is now prepping for the relocation of the MRI trailer to a new location at the northwest end of the hospital.

This phase of the project requires the construction of a new concrete pad to support the MRI trailer. To complete this work safely, the construction team need to intermittently close several parking stalls in the northwest parking lot between March 2 and April 21.

Tips for Parking & Arrival at KBRH

• People are encouraged to secure a ride for drop off/pick up to scheduled appointments or procedures
• If vehicle parking is necessary, arrive at the hospital well ahead of appointments especially during peak times.
• Consider carpooling or public transit.

Reminder: Please adhere to all signage including No Parking and Fire Lane. Be mindful to not park in a way that blocks access to or egress of other vehicles, including BCEHS ambulance.
